“The Tank” Double Weave BJJ Gi by Tatami is built like – you guessed it – a tank… for those guys and gals who mean some serious business when they step on the mat. The Tank features a 950 GSM Double Weave jacket, which is nearly double the standard grams per square meter in your typical single or pearl weave fabric. This means this gi is extremely durable and built to last, and likely outlast all of your other gis. Based off the same pattern as our best-selling Estilo models, The Tank was designed to feel like a traditional gi, but fit like a modern one. To complement the sturdy construction of the fabric, we have also included some serious reinforcements on the interior of the gi, with canvas trim along the main seam area and across the top half of the lapel. But don’t let its rugged construction fool you, its still a very comfortable gi, as we have brushed the interior of the jacket to make it feel smooth against your skin while you’re rolling. As one serious piece of kimono, we have left the embroidered details clean, simple, and sharp. A five-pointed star is embroidered on the left shoulder, on the back under the collar, and bottom right pant leg.
