The slim profile means that the top horizontal portion is not big or bulky and therefore will not stick you in the stomach when you’re seated or in butterfly guard, etc. Inverted Gear used an elastic core only around the rear portion of the waist, so there’s just the right amount of stretch to accommodate slight fluctuations in weight, but not too much pinching around the sides and front. On top of the two-way closure and partially elasticated waistband, you can fine-tune the already impressive waist fit via the internal drawstring.
